Established in 1984, ALPS Electric (UK) Limited has over 20 years experience in both high volume mass production and low volume custom manufacture of RF components and sub-assemblies for the European broadcasting, communications and automotive markets. Since 2000, the company has extended its activities beyond standard analogue and digital RF into microwave and optical communications in fields such as broadband wireless, medical, aerospace and other industrial applications. Its advanced manufacturing facilities are located in a custom-built 14,000 square metre factory in Milton Keynes and include a dust-free, climate-controlled precision SMT area and modern cleanroom.

ALPS Electric Technology Centre (UK) Limited, the company’s R & D facility, is dedicated to identifying emerging technologies in Europe. It works closely with the ALPS Group’s global business development organisation, collaborating with academic and industrial partners to develop and realise the full potential of exciting new technologies. It specialises in microwave and millimetric wave technologies and in advanced photonics.

ALPS UK combines the skills and expertise of its high calibre design and process engineers with its world-class quality assurance disciplines to provide a unique manufacturing support partnership to both emerging and established companies seeking innovative, cost-effective and high quality manufacturing solutions.
