ALPS Electric (UK) Ltd advanced manufacturing offers a class 10,000 cleanroom for micro assembly and test. The advanced manufacturing team has come from a broad background including aerospace, medical and space industries. These highly skilled members can place components to ±25µm and have extensive experience with wire and tape bonders on MMIC devices working in the frequency range of 1 GHz to 50 GHz.
Facility
The class 10,000 cleanroom has a floor space area of 75m² . There are 40 changes of air per hour through 7.5m² of HEPA filters.
The environment has controlled temperature and humidity specifications of 21ºC±2ºC and 55%±10% respectively. In addition the room has a positive pressure with respect to the external environment.
Services to the cleanroom include nitrogen and argon gas, clean dry air and vacuum.
To keep the room to these specifications, the number of people in the cleanroom at any one time is limited to eight. |
